Dr Farhang Daemi BSc (Hons), PhD, MBCS

Farhang Daemi has enjoyed a successful 25 year international career in initiating, evaluating and delivering innovative programmes and businesses in medical, healthcare and other advanced technologies. He has a proven track record in driving efficiencies and cost improvement in healthcare technology as well as commissioning of healthcare facilities.

 

Farhang’s career highlights include research leadership in advanced imaging technology, founding and directing multi-million pound technology initiatives and businesses, numerous international consulting and interim executive roles, delivery and global launch of multiple FDA and CE accredited medical software products and 6 years as an executive partner at Circle where he headed commissioning procurement and medical technology.

 

Farhang has degrees of BSc (Hons) and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Nottingham in 1984 and 1990 respectively and is a professional member of the British Computer Society.

 

 

 

 

Peter Jarritt

Dr Peter Jarritt BSc. Ph.D. CSci. FIPEM FRCP  

With more than 20 years’ experience directing and delivering a comprehensive range of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering services at the highest level Peter brings a wealth of experience in the medical technology sector.

 

Most recently Peter was the Clinical Director and Head of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Addenbrookes) for 7 years where he transformed the Department to deliver high quality and effective Physics and Engineering healthcare services. With a commitment to operating within formal quality management systems, notable projects under his leadership were introduction of RFID technology at Addenbrookes to enhance utilization of medical devices in the patient environment and the integration of medical devices into clinical information systems in an e-hospital programme.

 

Peter’s other Career highlights includes Chief Executive of Northern Ireland Regional Medical Physics Agency where he led design and development of a Cancer Centre and multiple imaging centres to deliver a range of services including Nuclear Medicine imaging and therapy services. Past projects also included development of multiple Positron Emission Tomography and associated cyclotron facilities.

 

Peter is currently Deputy Director of the National Institute for Health, Health Technology Cooperative for Neurosciences.  He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians as well as a Fellow of and the Immediate Past President of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine. 

 

 

 Shah Tajbakhsh

Dr Shah Tajbakhsh BSc (Hons), PhD, Prince2, MSP

Shah Tajbakhsh is an accomplished MSP and Prince2 Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in Programme and Project Management. He is a result-orientated and profit-focused person with significant experience in strategic business requirement analysis, planning and deployment.

 

Shah has an extensive business and technical knowledge gained in blue-chip companies including IBM, Lucent Technologies (Alcatel), MCI Worldcom (Verizon) and US West. He has lead a number of successful projects including most recently delivering a multi-million pound mission critical supply chain management programme between IBM and AT&T across Europe.

 

 

 

 

David Chevins BA (Hons), CPFA

David Chevins has extensive healthcare experience, in the public and private sectors, as an entrepreneur, management consultant, senior manager and non-executive director. Following 10 years in NHS finance, he became a management consultant with Deloitte. He established Secta in 1990 which grew into a leading specialist healthcare consulting business before being acquired in 2002 by Tribal Group plc

 

From 2003 to 2006, David was Chief Executive of Tribal’s consulting division, and has subsequently worked as a freelance consultant, a programme director for Circle Health and most recently for Finnamore. He is also a non-executive director of the management consultancy Prospectus in Ireland. David is currently Executive Chairman and a founding Director of Hygeian Consulting.

 

 

 

 

Stephanie McDonnell BA(Hons)

Stephanie has worked in several Clinical and Estates roles prior to successfully graduating in Architecture and specialising on biophilic design. Since then she has worked within the growing healthcare environment as a design coordinator, leading on the initial design phase’s of a number of integral hospital developments. While supporting and delivering on a range of health related but individual projects. She is a skilled designer who can use a variety of software developmental tools in supporting modern business developments while at the same time is a proficient communicator and can work across all levels of business.

 

 

 

 

 

Janice Bennett CITP, MBCS, CISM

 

 

Janice is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Chartered IT Professional (BCS CITP) with extensive experience in the information security/risk management arena for leading blue chip and independent healthcare organisations.

 

Janice has successfully achieved and maintained full company accreditation to ISO27001 for a leading independent healthcare company. She also has expert knowledge of the Department of Health's Information Governance Toolkit Requirements for NHS Business Partners, Community Pharmacies and Dispensing Appliance Contractors (DACs).

 

Janice is a Certified Adult Education Tutor who has planned, designed and delivered global security awareness training and education programmes. Janice also has a track record of achievement in management consultancy and risk analysis as a Management of Risk (MOR) Practitioner.
